Wandering River Recycling is a recycling pick up service for small & medium sized businesses, apartments, condos and multi-unit retail complexes in Austin that are not served by the city.. It became apparent that homes on the edge of Austin could really use a recycling pick up service that is affordable and convenient. We come to neighborhoods around Oak Hill every other Saturday.

Recycling technology has come a very long way. We are the first independent service in Austin to offer Singe Stream Recycling Pick Up.NO MORE SORTING! Almost any glass, plastic, metal, or paper can be recycled, and it’s safe and sanitary and every little bit helps to reduce the volume of waste that goes to landfills. Just place your recyclables in any box or container and we’ll come get it. We can provide bins for you too.

We’re not here to preach about the many benefits of recycling to our community or tell you what you should or shouldn’t do, but hey, we think it’s a very important service for you and that’s why we’re here! It just breaks our hearts every time there is a can or bottle on the side of the road or floating in the rivers and lakes we’ve spent our lives enjoying. We’ve travelled all over the world and we have a long way to go on improving our recycling here at home. It’s a blessing to serve and help preserve the beautiful Texas Hill Country that we call home and we want to raise the bar on recycling here and help maintain it as one of the most beautiful places on Earth!
